Dr. Horndeski received his Doctor of Medicine in 1976 from Case Western Reserve
University in Cleveland, Ohio. He has completed his residency in general surgery
at the University Hospital of Cleveland, a Fellowship in Microvascular Reconstructive
surgery at M.D. Anderson in Houston, and a Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery residency
at the University of Texas branch at Herman Hospital. He also continued his training
with a Fellowship in Hand surgery at Wayne State University in Detroit.
As a triple Board Certified surgeon, Dr. Horndeski holds the prestigious honor of
being a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He received a certificate of
Added Qualifications in Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of Surgery in
1994 and was certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1994.
